Monica completed her Honours BA at the University of Toronto and graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Law in 2003. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004 after completing her articles with a boutique litigation firm in Toronto, specializing in plaintiff motor vehicle accident and personal injury litigation.

Since joining Malach + Fidler in 2005, Monica's practice has focused on personal injury and insurance litigation on behalf of both plaintiffs and insurers. The scope of her work includes the defence of motor vehicle accident claims, accident benefits claims, property and casualty insurance claims, occupier's liability claims and prosecution of subrogated actions.

Monica has appeared before judges and masters of the Superior Court of Justice, assisted in mediations and trials as junior counsel, and represented both plaintiffs and defendants in Small Claims Court trials. She also participates in continuing legal education seminars and medical education seminars offered by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Advocates' Society.

A member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates' Society and the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association, Monica also maintains an active involvement in the East Indian community.
